Filter Custom Reports and Charts by Seam

Filter a Custom Report by Seam

  1. In the Dashboard, select Add Report > Custom.
  2. The Customise Report form appears.

  3. In the Title field, type the title you want to use for the report.
  4. In the Period order field, select Column or Row.
  5. Click Insert.
  6. In the Series data grid:
    1. In the Value column, select the value on which you want to report.
    2. In the Movement column, select Added, Removed, or Balance.
    3. In the Production and Development columns, select the production and development locations on which you want to report.
    4. In the Materials column, select the material class on which you want to report.
    5. Click in the Materials cell, and add a colon (:) and the identifier for the seam to the material name.
    6. For example, to report on the COAL in seam A, add ":A" to the material class "COAL".

    7. In the Resources column, select the resources on which you want to report.
    8. In the Text Parameters column, select the text parameters you want to use to filter the report.
  7. Click OK.
  8. The report displays information for only the material class specified.

Filter a Custom Chart by Seam

  1. In the Dashboard, select Add Chart > Custom.
  2. The Customise Chart form appears.

  3. If you want to display a title for the report, select the Title check box.
  4. In the Title field, type the title you want to use for the chart.
  5. In the Legend field, select the location at which you would like to display the legend.
  6. In the Colouring field, select:
    • Default: to use default colouring
    • Custom: to use the colours you select in the Colour column of the Series data grid
    • Location: to use the colours of the locations
    • Material: to use the colours of the materials
    • Resource: to use the colours of the resources
  7. In the Style field, select 2D or 3D.
  8. Click Insert.
  9. In the Series data grid:
    1. In the Value column, select the value that you want displayed in the chart.
    2. In the Movement column, select Added, Removed, or Balance.
    3. In the Production and Development columns, select the production and development locations that you want to include in the chart.
    4. In the Materials column, select the material classthat you want to include in the chart.
    5. Click in the Materials cell, and add a colon (:) and the identifier for the seam to the material name.
    6. For example, to chart the COAL in seam A, add ":A" to the material class "COAL".

    7. In the Resources column, select the resources that you want to include in the chart.
    8. In the Text Parameters column, select the text parameters you want to use to filter the chart.
  10. Click OK.
  11. The chart displays information for only the material class specified.
